dimension : 54 x 81 cm

This painting by Catherine Chopinet offers a serene vision of the coastline at the moment when the evening light softens the forms and creates a quiet atmosphere. The trees rise in the foreground with a gentle vertical presence that frames the opening toward the sea. The shades of blue, violet and pink form a delicate harmony that enhances the decorative quality of the work. The scene captures a suspended moment in which nature transforms under the declining light and invites an inner contemplation.

The artist:   Catherine Chopinet develops a body of work devoted to landscape, shaped by the observation of the natural world and by a sensitive exploration of light. Her paintings are distinguished by the finesse of their atmospheres and the subtlety of their chromatic harmonies.

Decorative dimension   The softness of the colours, the balance of the composition and the presence of the vegetal silhouettes give this painting a decorative quality that integrates easily into a contemporary or classical interior.
